ANALISIS DETERMINAN KEJADIAN ANEMIA PADA IBU HAMIL DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS PEMBINA KOTA PALEMBANG TAHUN 2024

The World Health Organization reported that in 2022, the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women worldwide was 41.8%. Based on data from the Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2018, the percentage of pregnant women suffering from anemia in Indonesia was 48.9%, or approximately 5 from 10 pregnant women experienced it, 84.6% of pregnant women aged 15 to 24 years who experienced anemia. Iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women can cause 12–28 percent of fetal deaths, 30% of perinatal deaths, and 7% of neonatal deaths. Purpose of the study To determine the relationship between age, parity and compliance with Fe tablet consumption simultaneously to the incidence of anemia in the working area of the Pembina Public Health Center of Palembang city in 2024. This type of research was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were 120 respondents, sampling used the Accidental Sampling technique with a total of 50 respondents. The results of the study showed there was significant relationship between age and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women with a p value of 0.002 and an OR value of 9.667, there was a significant relationship between parity and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women with a p value of 0.000 and an OR value of 48.0, and there was a significant relationship between compliance with Fe tablet consumption and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women with a p value of 0.002 and an OR value of 7.778. Suggestions from the results of the study are expected to be used as information for pregnant women because it is an important stage to creat a quality family.
