Teman Sebaya, Media Sosial Dan Pola Asuh Orang Tua Terhadap Kejadian Gangguan Mental Emosional Remaja SMA X Kota Depok 2023
Abstract
Basic Health Research in 2018 stated that more than 19 million people in Indonesia aged >15 years had experienced emotional mental disorders. Other data also states that the percentage of teenagers in Indonesia aged 13-15 years who seriously attempt suicide has increased, with a percentage value of 4.8% increasing to 6.2%. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between peers, social media and parenting patterns on the incidence of emotional mental disorders in adolescents at SMA X Depok City in 2023. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. The research results showed that there was a significant relationship between the peer variable with a p-value = 0.000 (PR=2.036), the social media variable with a p-value = 0.000 (PR=6.941), and the parenting pattern variable with a p-value. value = 0.000 (PR=2.131) on the incidence of emotional mental disorders in these adolescents. Apart from that, the variable that has a greater chance of mental emotional disorders occurring in teenagers at SMA X Depok City is the variable related to social media with a PR value of 6.941. It is hoped that the school can provide education that focuses on promotive and preventive efforts for students and female students, as well as involving both parents about the importance of emotional mental disorders in teenagers.
